A long natural-edge slab runs along the wall, carried at one end by a carved tree trunk that rises from the floor, with our Natural Tree Trunk Console Table With Climbing Branches For Entryway, a rustic wood console table whose branches climb above the top rather than stopping at the surface. The trunk plants itself on the floor like a small, rooted tree.

The Rustic Look

Most consoles stop at the tabletop, this one keeps going: the trunk that holds up one end of the slab continues upward past the top, branching out across the wall above it. The top itself stays a simple natural-edge board, so all of the rustic character comes from that one carved, branching trunk. It works as a natural wood console table with a genuine woodland feel rather than an applied decoration.

The top is a single long board with its natural edge left on the front. Only one end is held by the trunk, so the space below stays open for a basket, a bench or a pair of boots.

Are the lights and leaves part of the order?
No. They are styling in the photos. You can add your own string lights or leave the branches bare.
Will my branches match the photo exactly?
The idea will match, but each trunk is carved by hand, so the curve and spread of the branches are unique to your piece.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the slab and trunk with a soft dry cloth; a soft brush helps around the thinner branches.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

How is the timber treated?
