Product Details

Our Organic Curved Console Table With Z Shaped Base For Living Room turns a single sweep of solid wood into both top and legs, making a modern entryway table that reads as sculpture from any angle. One carved Z-shaped foot runs along the floor, climbs on a diagonal and curls back to carry the flat top, so the long grain of the wood traces the whole curve.

Curved Organic Form And Detail

There is no straight leg anywhere on this piece: the base bends, doubles back and widens into a second foot before rising again to meet the underside of the top. As a curved entryway table, the form keeps changing as you walk past it, and the grain figure on the bend is different on every table since each one is carved by hand. The flat top keeps softened corners so the sculptural base stays the focal point.

Is the top a live edge?
No. The top is a flat solid wood board with gently shaped ends; the movement is all in the base.
Which side does the foot run?
As shown in the photos, the lower foot reaches toward one end and the top curl supports the opposite end.
How should I care for it?
Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep drinks on coasters.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
