Product Details

Our Organic Sculptural Wood Console Table With Arched Trunk Base For Entryway sets a slim top with a softly natural edge on one carved trunk that sweeps down and arches from a front foot to a back foot, so the whole table reads like a single bent limb. As a sculptural console table it is narrow enough for a tight entryway while still standing out as the focal point of the room.

Shape And Sculptural Character

Rather than two matched legs, one continuous trunk does the work, curving from beneath the top down to a front foot, then arching back to a second foot at the rear. The grain and knots of the wood carry through the arch without a visible break, so the base reads as one grown shape rather than an assembled frame. Hidden hardware fixes the top to the base, keeping the join invisible and letting the arch stay the center of attention. Five widths are offered, all 12 inches deep and 30 inches tall.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
