Our Rustic Floating Bathroom Vanity With Raw Bark Edge runs a long, simple slab across the wall, its front edge kept raw and bark-textured while the rest of the counter stays clean and plain. As a floating wood bathroom vanity it hangs on concealed brackets, with nothing touching the floor below.

Shape And Rustic Character

The front edge stays close to straight along its length, but the surface is left rough with the bark-like texture of the outer log rather than smoothed flat. That one textured line frames an otherwise plain, level top. Mounted on concealed wall brackets, the slab reads as a single clean plane with the bark texture doing all the character work, a straightforward rustic bathroom vanity rather than a sculpted or carved piece.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?
