Product Details

Our Rustic Floating Bathroom Vanity With Knobby Live Edge hangs on the wall with strong, swirling grain across the top and a front live edge left rugged and knobby from end to end. It is a live edge bathroom vanity where the texture of the wood itself is the main feature.

Rustic Knobby Edge Form And Detail

The grain swirls visibly across the top, giving the surface real movement even before you reach the edge. At the front, the live edge is left rugged and knobby along its full length, with none of the bumps sanded away. Mounted flush to the wall, the slab leaves open space below for a towel basket rather than a closed cabinet, a rustic wood vanity with more raw texture than a typical smooth-fronted floating counter.

Wood, Finish And Build

  • Wood: solid natural wood
  • Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture, available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price

Thickness: about 2" thick, the same for every size; every size is 18" deep, and because the front is a natural edge the depth varies a little along the piece. The slab hangs on concealed wall brackets that must be fixed into studs; drain and faucet cut-outs can be made to order. The basin, faucet, mirror and decor in the photos are styling only and are not included. Wipe standing water dry.

Where To Place It

Its knobby edge and open space below suit a bathroom with room for a floor basket.

  • Floating vanity shelf with a basket tucked underneath
  • Wall-mounted counter in a jungle-bath or botanical powder room
  • Rustic accent beneath a round or arched mirror
  • Pairs well with woven baskets and brass fixtures

About the wood: Built by hand after checkout, so allow for small natural differences in grain, texture and tone; no photo can show your exact piece.

Close-up of the knobby live edge and swirling grain under an oval stone basin

Knots, bumps and swirls

A front edge you can feel

Lumps and ridges run the full length of the front, while the top swirls with strong grain under a smooth sealed finish.

Knobby edge floating vanity with an oval stone basin and a towel basket underneath

Counter above, basket room below

The slab hangs on the wall with nothing beneath it, so a woven basket of rolled towels or a small stool slides right under. In a warm travertine bath with plants, the knobby edge looks like it grew there.

Basin, faucet, mirror, basket and plants are styling only and not included.

Hanging the knobby slab

  1. 01

    Find the studs

The concealed brackets must be fixed into wall studs, so mark them before you set the height.
  2. 02

    Plan the cut-outs

Tell us where the drain and faucet go and the holes can be made to order.
  3. 03

    Seat the slab

Slide the slab onto the brackets so the straight back sits tight to the wall.

Ten widths from 20 to 71 inches

All sizes are 18" deep and about 2" thick. The rugged front makes depth vary slightly along the slab.

WidthRoom
20" to 31"Powder room or narrow alcove
35" to 47"Standard single-basin bath
51" to 60"Wide wall with extra counter
71"Long wall, counter space on both sides of the basin

What the knobby slab brings

Swirling top

The grain on the surface curls and loops, so no two tops look alike.

One price per size

Walnut, Brown, Oak and Black all cost the same; only the width changes the price.

Floor left clear

With no legs or cabinet, cleaning under the counter takes one sweep.

Customer photo review of Branching Solid Wood Tree Bookshelf, Driftwood Sculptural Wall-Mounted Shelving, Natural Rustic

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Customer photo review of Live-Edge Solid Wood Walnut Dining Table, Sculptural Resin-Filled Slab Farmhouse Table for 8

I could not be happier with my beautiful custom walnut table! It is absolutely gorgeous-even more beautiful than I imagined-and every detail reflects Sefa's incredible talent, care, and craftsmanship. One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. I feel so fortunate to own a table handcrafted by Sefa, and I cannot recommend his beautiful work highly enough! ❤️

Frequently asked questions

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.

How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.

Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.

How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Rates and transit times are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. Any duties or import taxes are set by the destination country and are the recipient’s responsibility.
