A rounded, oval-ended top flows straight into the base of our Sculptural Curved Wood Coffee Table With Double Loop Base For Living Room, a modern wood coffee table where two open loops twist and cross beneath it.

Sculptural Form And Detail

Top and base read as one continuous piece, with deep grain following every curve from end to end. Built around two loops instead of four legs, it keeps most of the floor underneath visible, which keeps a living room from feeling crowded even with a large sofa nearby. This rounded edge coffee table is also a solid wood coffee table, hand-finished to order from solid natural wood, so the grain, knots and tool marks are unique to every piece.

The top does not stop at its rounded ends. It turns down into a carved base made of two open loops that twist and cross beneath the middle, so the whole table reads as one moving line of wood.

Where the loops cross, the grain follows

Look at the base from the side and the deep stripes of the grain bend around each loop instead of cutting across it. Every curve is hand-finished, so the surface stays smooth where your hand or foot meets it.

The space between the loops is open, but it is shaped by the curves rather than a flat shelf, so it works best left clear to show the base.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
