Here, a live edge sofa table carries a long, slim top with a softly wavy front edge on our Sculptural Live Edge Console Table With Swooping S Curve Base For Entryway. A single sculpted pedestal sweeps up from a broad flared foot in one smooth S-curve, leaving the space beneath open and light. The base is carved and polished so the flowing grain follows the curve.

The Organic Modern Look

The S-curve base is what makes this a curved entryway table rather than a rustic one: the lines are smooth and deliberate, closer to a sculptural studio piece than a rough timber support. The pedestal flares at the foot and narrows as it rises, carrying the long top on a single continuous sweep instead of four legs. The live edge along the front of the top is the one raw, untouched detail left in an otherwise refined, sculptural shape. Set against a wall, it works equally well as an entryway console table or behind a sofa.

Does one support keep it steady?
Yes. The foot flares wide along the floor, which is what lets a single carved curve carry the top.
Will the front edge match the photos exactly?
The shape will be close, but each live edge follows its own board, so the wave is a little different on every table.
How should I clean it?
A soft dry cloth is enough. Keep standing water and direct heat away from the wood.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
