One carved wave carries the whole design, with our Sculptural Oval Coffee Table With Wave Base For Living Room, a modern wood coffee table whose base rises and dips in a single flowing line and touches the floor at three points. The oval top keeps soft, rounded edges that match the movement below.

The Organic Modern Look

The base is carved as one continuous wave rather than a set of legs, lifting the oval top while leaving open gaps on either side that keep the piece visually light. Grain runs along the length of the wave, following its rise and dip from one end to the other. The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!
