Our Sculptural Solid Wood Platform Bed With Flowing Curved Legs For Bedroom is carved as one continuous form rather than built from separate parts. As a modern platform bed it keeps a low, clean profile, but the frame sweeps down at each corner into wide, flaring legs that spread like roots meeting the floor. A low headboard curls up into rounded wings at both ends, carrying the same flowing line around the whole piece.

Shape And Sculptural Character

Every edge of the frame is carved smooth and rounded, with no sharp corners or flat panels breaking the line from the headboard down through the legs. The legs flare outward as they reach the floor, giving the bed a planted, grounded look despite its low, modern platform shape. At the head, the frame curls upward into soft wings instead of stopping in a straight edge, carrying the same curve through the whole silhouette. Seen from any angle, the bed reads as one flowing sculpture rather than a frame with separate legs and a headboard attached.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?
