A slim top curls down into a deep, rolling wave on our Sculptural Wave Wood Console Table With Curling Ribbon Base For Entryway, looping back along the floor as a chunky wood console table built from one continuous carved ribbon. The thick sculpted base shows long, swirling grain on every curve. No separate legs break up the line from top to floor.

The Sculptural Look

The whole piece reads as sculpture more than furniture: the top curls into a wave, drops to the floor and loops back up to meet itself, with no flat panel anywhere in the base. It is closer to a carved console table doubling as art than a conventional curved entryway table, and the thick base shows long, swirling grain on every bend of the loop. Even so, the flat top surface works just as well for a lamp or tray as any straight-legged piece would.

One continuous carving

A slim top that curls into the floor

There is no separate leg here. The top bends down at one end into a deep rolling wave, then loops back along the floor, so the table is one carved ribbon from tip to tip.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
