Our Scandinavian Live Edge Nightstand With Splayed Legs For Bedroom keeps a gently wavy live edge along the front and sides of its top, a detail that sets it apart from a squared-off box. As a live edge piece it pairs that raw top edge with one drawer below, fitted with a round finger-hole pull instead of applied hardware. Four tapered legs splay outward underneath for a steady, airy stance.

Mid Century Form And Detail

The splayed, tapered legs are the clearest mid century cue on the piece, lifting the drawer box well off the floor and giving the whole table a lighter look than a solid-sided cabinet would have. Above that, the live edge top keeps its natural wavy line rather than being planed straight, so the raw wood grain stays visible along the whole front edge. As a nightstand with drawer storage, it holds one drawer for small items while the open-leg base keeps the footprint feeling light. A mid century modern wood nightstand built this way suits a room that mixes clean lines with a touch of raw material.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

I could not be happier with my beautiful custom walnut table! It is absolutely gorgeous-even more beautiful than I imagined-and every detail reflects Sefa's incredible talent, care, and craftsmanship. One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
