A long rounded top reaches out from one sculpted base on our Statement Cantilever Console Table With Lower Wing Shelf For Entryway, true to its name as a modern entryway table with storage. A second, lower wing shelf sweeps out beneath the main top, so the piece reads as a pair of layered carved wings rather than a top on legs. The lower shelf is part of the same carving as the base, not a separate add-on.

Shape And Sculptural Character

The two curved surfaces move in tandem, carved from the same sweeping form rather than bolted together as separate parts, which is what sets this carved console table apart from a simple console-and-shelf combination. The main top stays practical for keys and mail, while the wing shelf below holds baskets or books within easy reach. No legs interrupt the line from the base up through both surfaces. As an entryway console table, it suits an entryway wall or a living room equally well.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
