A natural-looking trunk grows from a live-edge slab base in our Handcrafted Tree Trunk Wine Stand With Branch Bottle Holders For Kitchen, opening into branches with cupped ends that each hold a bottle upright. As a countertop wine rack, it leaves room on the base for a bottle or a bowl alongside it. It works on a kitchen island, bar top or sideboard without needing any wall space.

The Rustic Look

The trunk rises from a live-edge slab base and splits into a handful of branches, each one ending in a cupped hollow sized to hold a bottle standing up. Branches reach different heights, so the bottles they hold sit at staggered levels rather than in a flat row. The live edge of the base is left exactly as cut, giving the stand its own grain pattern and outline even before a bottle is added. As a wine rack tree built for a counter rather than a wall, it needs no mounting of any kind.

Before you fill it

How does it mount?
It mounts into studs or anchors; the fixings come with it. Use studs or anchors rated for the load you plan to hang. A full rack is heavy, so fix into studs where you can.
Can it hold glasses?
It is built for bottles; any shelf can hold a glass or two upright.
How do I care for it?
Dust dry and wipe spills at once; keep it away from heat sources, which wine dislikes too.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
