Our Contemporary Live Edge Dining Table With Curving Wave Base sets a thick live-edge slab on one wide panel base that rises at one end, dips to the floor in a single wave and climbs back up at the other, a live edge dining table where base and top read as one continuous piece.

The Rustic Wave Look

The slab keeps its natural outline on both long sides, with strong grain figure running the length of the thick top. Below it, one solid panel curves in a smooth wave rather than standing as separate legs, dipping low enough at the center to leave open floor space for chairs on either side. Because the wave and the live edge are both left in their natural form, this reads as an oval wood dining table with genuine raw texture rather than a polished showroom piece. The curve of the base also means no two tables sit on quite the same silhouette underneath.

Clean with a soft cloth, just barely damp and use mats under hot dishes. Sizes are width x depth x height: 63" seats about 6, 72" seats 6 to 8, 84" seats 8, 93" seats 8 to 10 and 108" seats 10 to 12.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
